Hi All, I sold an item with some details I was unsure about (I said so in the description). Turns out it wasn't quite what the buyer expected, so they started a return request. I suggested a partial refund and they agreed. (All messages through eBay, totally legit.) Problem is that there seems to be no way to offer a partial refund on eBay (when I go to the return request, I can click on "refund buyer" but I can only refund the entire purchase amount). PayPal says that the money is "on hold" and please resolve on eBay.
Any suggestions? I'd really like to get this straightened out, for the buyer's sake.

You can log into paypal and send the buyer any amount you want. Once they receive their $ they can close the case.

YOU ARE SCREWED! EBAY WILL ALWAYS SIDE WITH THE BUYER AND HAS SET UP THE SYSTEM TO DO JUST THAT! EBAY WANTS TO DRIVE OUT THE SMALL SELLERS, IN ORDER TO IMPLIMENT THEIR NEW BUSINESS MODEL: E-COMMERCE! AGAIN, YOU ARE SCREWED!
