Item Not Received Scam & PayPal Playing Games

Hi eBay friends,

Here's a good one:  Sold an item on 10/26/17.  Shipped on 10/27/17 from CA to PA.

Buyer paid for Parcel Select and I upgraded to Priority at my cost as a goodwill gesture (and even included a free small gift (never again)).

Item tracked and delivered via USPS on 10/31/17 - from CA to PA in 3 days!

That same day Buyer opened an "Item Not Received" case with eBay,  and eBay allowed it, even though the window of time for delivery didn't pass, tracking was uploaded and showed delivery.  When I questioned eBay, they claim the computer allowed it due to a "glitch".

I called eBay (40 minute hold) and they quickly closed the case in my favor.

The Buyer messaged me stating she did indeed receive the package and actually thanked me - so nice!

PayPal is still holding the funds, I have contacted them & they told me to contact eBay - there is nothing they can do & claims there are 2 cases opened through eBay from the Buyer which is not true.

I have contacted eBay again and actually spoke to a "Specialist" who said she would "investigate" - sounds so special!

Hopefully, once someone at PayPal who understands Accounting 101 & can figure out credit and debits, they will finally release the paltry $19.00. After the $10.25 shipping and eBay fees, I'm sure you can figure out the amazing profit I pocketed.

This eBay/PayPal thing is beoming a really "fun" adventure.

Re: Item Not Received Scam & PayPal Playing Games

Yours was truely a glitch.

Normally if you upload tracking showing delivered, then call ebay, it is usually a slam dunk in favor of the seller.
