As the title indicates, this is not a selling post, but I can't figure out where to ask, and I know you all can probably help. If I need to request to have the thread moved to another board, please let me know which one, and I'll do so.

My question is, how do l type in common emoticons, emojis, smileys, whatever they're called? I've figured out a few (happy, surprised, sad), but not any others.

When I searched the Community, I found this thread, which is helpful:

You see that little smiley face in the bar with the bold, italic, etc. above. Click on that, and you can choose.

As lillady mentioned, Lithium provides their own emoticons , some of which are OK, and others show up so small that you can't tell what they are!

You can also do a google search for the type of emoticon/smiley that you want and either add it to your computer and then upload to your "images" for future use, or you can just copy/paste directly into your post!

Don't feel bad - that icon was very similar to the spoiler tag until they finally changed it.

That's why there were so many accidental 'spoiler' tags when onLithium took over the boards.

I think that was meant for things of like nature in the future.

A poster pointed out the smiley emoticon at the top of this form and that is where they are located, so you really don't need to move this anywhere.

If you want to, you can get the thread closed by clicking the three dots at the top right of your OP, choosing the last option, report inappropriate content, type in I am the OP and wish to close this thread, thank you, and click on Notify the Moderator, just beneath that.

Sorry, @sockmonkeydave. My dance card is full. We Southern girls are just so high in demand with the preppies that you bad boys have to book your dates with us two years in advance.

(But, I can meet you at the water fountain outside the gym when the band takes a break.)
