One suggestion I'd make while they're fiddling around with this (in Q4 - of COURSE), would be to change the "items you've viewed recently" to be able to be cleared individually, not all or nothing.

Sometimes I have stuff on there I'd like to keep on there as a reminder, but also have stuff that ended up there after looking at a board poster's listings that I REALLY don't need to see again or have ebay think I'm "interested in".

Never gonna happen.

Why?

Seems like a simple fix.

That way ebay knows you actually ARE interested in those recently viewed items.

It’s never going to happen because eBay doesn’t accept unsolicited ideas. They actually have a wrote a policy about it. Unsolicited idea submissions policy

Cuz it's simple and logical...

eBay never does anything simple or logical....

It's not exactly an "unsolicited idea", just something that I don't understand why it's the way it is now.

i'm surprised it's not a list ten miles long of everything we ever looked at ever with no way to delete them!!

This is one of very few features I use on the app where we can delete individually.

GLORIOUS!

I guess that's yet another thing where the desktop & app differ.

Maybe I'll try logging into the app to delete stuff I don't want to see.

Hey @femmefan1946, as @wastingtime101 mentioned, it is possible in the app, but not on the desktop site.  In the app, click on "see all" next to your recently viewed items, and it will pull them up in a list which can be edited individually.
That being said, @toomuchstuffagain35 it's definitely a suggestion we can pass along!

interested might be better served in the "watch" list 🤔

I rarely use the watchlist and prefer to just bookmark listings (stops the constant offers - or used to).

I like the recently viewed as a reminder I was looking for a particular item (obviously wants not needs lol)

I like using my viewed items to go back to without saving everything to my watch list. Being on desktop, I also would like to be able to remove items without deleting them all.
