Germany Packing Act.
As pr. July 1 2022 Sellers selling/shipping to Germany have to register for recycling permission/fee, to be allowed to ship/sell to Germany.
If not fulfill the requirement fine implemented max. 200.000 DM.
To my understanding the registration fee to the German Government is free, but a company www.lizenzero.de is providing the service to a fee of EU 39.00 Year.
Additional to the fee the seller will be charged German Gov. fee for the type of packing material used and weight of the packing material.
Notice; Letter Post is not exempt, all sales packing has a fee obligation
Important to know: There are no exceptions!
The VerpackG obligations apply regardless of the size of the company
