FYI For Those Interested-The System Status Board Updated Today

The System Status Board https://www.ebay.com/sts  has been showing a Buying disruption for almost 2 weeks.

We have a reply from the Community Manager on the Technical Issues Board https://community.ebay.com/t5/Report-eBay-Technical-Issues/eBay-System-Status-Still-Showing-BUYING-S... that the board has updated and it is no longer showing a buying disruption.

Hopefully, this will mean more sales for everyone.

All well and good except they never DID say exactly what the disruption was or what it affected did they? So how can we trust that it's been 'resolved'?

I guess we can only hope that it has been resolved, Things are bad enough for something like this to happen!

I have not seen anything from eBay explaining the issue or issues  leading to the "Buying Disruption" status.

Could be the buyer address reverting to an old address issue, the canceling of orders by eBay do to a "System Issue", the reports of Buy, Watch, and Make Offer buttons not working. Just guessing.

Strange as the disruption must NOT have affected everyone. I had one of my largest weeks of 2024 from 4-13 to 4-20....
