The buyers? Really? How much does eBay pay you to post this garbage?

It will be very little work for me to add 10 cents to each listing asking price. Can be done with just a few clicks of the mouse. (if I choose to do so)
I may do 11 cents just to pay myself for the effort exerted.
eBay should just raise it to a $, and not keep nickel and diming us.
I think you could just add all $0.30 to one listing to be covered.

perhaps even more than that. I think I will be OK with the 10 cents. My margins do not represent a "hand to mouth business model".

WALLY RAISED THE PRICE OF THE LITTLE PIES THAT I LIKE BY 68%
There's something to shout about 😁

Buyers pay all my fees.

You do have the option to not sell on eBay, which would result in you being out a lot more than a penny - or even 10 cents.

"Buyers pay all my fees."
That cannot be repeated too often.

"TEN MORE CENTS A LISTING TO COVER MARKETING COSTS"
Is this true?
I haven't read the full announcement yet.
Other posters have been commenting on the increase in the "Per Order" fee: It has been 30 cents per order for decades, and next month will be increasing to 40 cents per order.
Is eBay, in True Fact, also increasing the "Listing" fee?

That's not a fair assumption. We don't know the OP's situation or business model or whatever.
They may sell 10,000 items a week and make 10 cents on every one.
I bet there are thousands of sellers on eBay making less than 10 cents on many items they sell.
Best guess would be they overseas.
But, if ya sold enough, it could be a really good business model.

EXACTLY!

As noted in the announcement, it has been $.30 per order since 2020. Now being raised to $.40 per order. That's a 33% increase, pretty steep. But, it's GreedBay, so...

"You must work for eBay. Sorry rich person but every penny counts to me."
I am not a rich person.
My closest friends have asked me to stop saying I am "broke."
But this new increase to the "per order" fee of ten whole pennies is -- yawn. A big nothing.
Worst case, I might have to spend an hour or so increasing the prices of all my listings by 25 cents, maybe 29 or 30 cents for the most expensive things I'm trying to sell.

So, add 12 cents to your shipping cost and you're covered.

Only three threads on this so far and only one is shouty? We're slipping.

many do not read, and are left unaware. The flood will hit after the actual 10 cent increase shows up on a sale🤣
