Hi, a doll I sold got damaged during deliver, buyer is asking for refund. I dont mind to refund but the best offer of $90 that i accepted was including shipping, shipped from Malaysia to Spain cost $30, if i accept to fully refund, will ebay make me refund the whole $90? Thanks, i do appreciate your help in this matter.

Yes you need to refund the whole amount paid

Before you refund, ask them to send you pictures of the damage.

Buyers are not required to provide pictures, and all it will do is tick off the buyer.

I never said they were required, but any wise seller will ask for pictures.
I have never made any buyer upset by asking. I've also never had any buyer with legitimate damage not send me pics.

I did not mean to imply that you did, and yes a seller can ask, no harm there.
And an honest buyer would have no problem, If they can infact take pictures.
But not everyone has the ability to do that, and we have seen things like this go down hill fast.

Maybe I've just been lucky.
IMO an honest buyer will never balk at sending pics.

maybe not, but you're taking a chance. Is it an honest buyer, or is it a less-than-honest buyer who could possibly be overplaying something insignificant? If it's the latter, I'd be worried that asking for a photo would encourage them to smash it up real good first, just to make it more likely you'll accept the return.
It's already been established the buyer thinks it's damaged and wants a return. A photo won't change that.
I've seen so many stories just like this in the past few days, I am never going to sell anything to an international buyer again.

I have no cell phone that can take a picture, and the battery in my 1990's Sony Mavica is dead.
I would have to find someone with a phone, have them take the picture, then mail it to me.
And I don't give out my email.
So even if I wanted to, there is no way I could give you pictures. Just saying.
Sure a scammer is never going to give pictures, but even honest buyers might have a problem.
