Does ebay notify bidders if the item description has been updated?

The colour of a buggy accessory I listed is officially 'peppermint' colour as opposed to 'aqua' and need my bidders to be aware of this. If ebay doesn't highlight this to them, can I contact the bidders? 

Also, I need to update the listing title to avoid anyone else bidding on it thinking its aqua!

It is not possible for you to change the auction title or description after it has received bids (not even if you cancel the bids).

You can ADD a section at the bottom of the description.  I recommend that you inform bidders about this addition, and also offer to cancel their bid for them if they are no longer interested in the item.

Your best bet is to end the listing and  start over.

If it is a auction, make sure you cancel the bids first.
