Chinese ebay sellers are able to not have to pay for tracking, and yet they get a tracking number that ebay allows. When you go to check the tracking it will either say "accepted" or "no tracking is available on this item". These fake 'tracking numbers' provided by china post are not real tracking and do not offer any asurances to the buyer or ebay and yet ebay allows these chinese sellers to use these in place of real tracking.
In the US and most other countries we have to BUY tracking to get a tracking number. If we upload a fake number ebay will not count it as tracking. Chinese ebayers are allowed to get powerseller and have lower fees without actually buying tracking that US sellers must buy. This is very unfair.

It's not a "fake" tracking no. USPS stopped supplying tracking for epacket years ago due to the cost. Tracking usually picks up once the item has entered USPS.
In any event, sellers are not required to provide tracking.

eBay has very different rules for Chinese sellers, which are very relaxed compared to US sellers.

You can't tell if any seller is a powerseller, unless you see them on the PS board.

This is unother very unfair practice against sellers from countries other than china. Along with Epacket that is cheaper than US shipping and how ebay charges no FVF on ebay asia we are being scamed.

Yep agreed, China Sellers do have tracking but it takes like 20 minutes to find it on China post...
Feebay favors China now and has done for the last year...

It's a package ID, not a tracking number: It will never show delivered.
Question is: Why aren't you filing an item not received case when the tracking -- which eBay shows you the status on your Purchase history page -- doesn't show delivered?

Digress, Divert, and completely miss the point of OP.

There governemnt does not pay for shipping. The US government and governments of other countries pick up the bill for their cheap shipping. It is a complete scam to our countries and our own manufacturing.
