how to answer a message that has expired

I just made my very first sale on eBay (yay!), selling 1 of a pair of lamps. I'm still very inexperienced in selling on eBay and in the course of handling this sale, I saw that someone had messaged me months ago with a question and an offer one one of the lamps and I never saw the message and thus never responded! I feel very bad about it and want to apologize, but also I still have the other lamp and I would like to answer the question and possibly sell it if they are still interested. But the message is more than 90 days old so I can no longer answer the message. Does anyone know if there any way I can still communicate with the possible buyer and answer her question?
