Have never had to do this, but it is my understanding that contact is better through Facebook or Twitter.
Or, maybe you would like to tell us about your problem. Quite a few issues do not require contact with eBay to get solved. But you probably know that already, right?

When I called I got an automated response. How do I get a live person? Are they only available during certain hours? I don't text and may have to file a dispute. I will try to get a live person tomorrow.

There is no live person to just call, hasn't been for a while. You have to use the Help/Contact or social media. If you found a number on the internet, it is NOT eBay.
What dispute? Everything is pretty much automated.

I want to put in a dispute in case he decides not to reply or refund. The phone number is real, but I guess it has become automated like everything else. Now I have to search how to put in a dispute because I can't find out how. I found one area on ebay but they wanted a picture of the item and wouldn't go through without it. This is awful. I will check back tomorrow. I have to get up early and go to the doctor. I will try again when I can calm down. Thanks.
