How long to wait for item?

I bought an item on Sept. 7th. I tracked it until the 14th, when the tracking ended at a certain P.O. I'm assuming it's lost. How long do I wait before asking for money or identical item?

Re: How long to wait for item?

You can open an Item Not Received claim one day past the Estimated Delivery Date on the order.

Re: How long to wait for item?

keep  an eye on the date you should have it

I would just  file an item not received  and skip the replacement

I think sellers use the replacement thing to drag things out

if it was shipped it will show up.  thats what I believe

A replacement will have to pass through a certain P.O. again anyway, so it's likely you wouldn't receive that one, either.

(lots of things enter a certain P.O. and are never seen again)

Re: How long to wait for item?

I would give it a week past the last delivery date to allow for shipping delays. Ask for a refund as the replacement might too not arrive. You can however as stated file one day past the last delivery date. If it's looks lost there is no need to wait.

You can call the 800 number on the USPS web site. They can pull up a lot more info than what it on line. I have had packages get unstuck that way.  If it's a one of a kind item you might try that.
