Google Pay

Has anyone that used Google pay had to file a dispute or charge back after being denied by eBay?  Does Google become involved in the case in any way?

Google Pay

Google pay accepts zero responsibility for user fraud.  They will respond very nicely, but it doesn't seem to be an issue of fraud, maybe someone in your home used the account.  Keep pressing enough and they will finally come out and say that they are not a bank or even a financial processor with any duty to their victims, er, customers.  My usual route to pay on eBay is to use a credit card to Paypal, to eBay.  It gives me three levels at which to protest and appeal a charge.

Google Pay

I've never used google pay but when a buyer uses it, doesn't the money actually come from a credit card or debit card? If that's the case, then my 'guess' would be that the buyer could file a claim with their bank.
