"Does anybody really know what time it is?" ebay is Lost in Time, Riddle.

It is about 4:39pm EDT. ebay is showing that my FedEx ground service packages reached my local FedEx terminal today at 6:57pm PDT, which would be 9:57pm EDT.  FedEx tracking shows them as having in-processed at same location at 2:57pm EDT, which actually makes sense.

How does ebay have a leg to stand on to ding any seller for a late shipment or to hold anyone accountable for meeting a time-related metric?

Re: "Does anybody really know what time it is?" ebay is Lost in Time, Riddle.

Your analysis is incorrect.

It's very common for carriers to display scans in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). GMT is a global time standard.

Your package when tracked on FedEx shows the 2:57 pm ET scan because location is recognized. eBay can see your items were shipped within your handling time, before midnight today, because their system can recognize the time zone associated with the scan.

Your acceptance scan at 2:57 pm ET is equivalent to the displayed 6:57 pm GMT.

The equivalent in PT is 11:57 am.

GLORIOUS!
