items stay in active status even after item is sold

I have over 25 or 30 listings that are in active status even though the items have sold. I have turned OFF the option to maintain listing after last item sells but the problem remains. In addition that option only applies to multiple listings and this problem is occuring in single item listings. Please help

Out of Stock applies to all listings, not just multiple quantity listings.
