Try another browser or another browser mode (mobile, classic or desktop).
Try using a different page to contact a user, such as the contact link on the user's feedback or profile page.
If you are replying to a message and you have your eBay messages forwarded to an email address, try replying directly to the email itself (not using the blue reply button in the message).

The app is fine and also I tried Safari and that worked....It is not working on Chrome....Any suggestions?

I cleared my cache and it is now working

Use the app or Safari to send messages for now.
If you are using Chrome on a mobile device, try using classic or desktop mode to send messages.
Try clearing your browser cache and possibly deleting eBay cookies to see if that matters.
