Getting message "Please reply with the same email address that is used to open ticket" when replying

I applied for an API limit increase. I received an email from eBay with a few questions. I replied to that email, but immediately received an automated repply with the 

subject: Error Response: sender is not in contact or cc list.

and

body: Please reply with the same email address that is used to open ticket. 

 

I have tripple checked, I am replying from the same email I used to open the ticket and also I'm replying to the email from eBay.  The API increate limit ticket is still pending

 

Anyone else experience this before? How did you resolve it? Thanks

It's strange that you're getting that error with the same email address.

 

Idea: instead of replying by email, login to your eBay Dev account, find the ticket, and reply there.
