I know this piece has age, it's another piece from my Great Grandmother. It can't be a Wall Pocket unless you are to hang it by the rope. The shape resembles an old whiskey I once had. It is 5" tall and has a mark I cannot read. The back is flat with nothing but the mark. The front with the flowers is a little rounded. Any ideas at all would be welcomed.

Thanks, I didn't even know where it was made. so that's one question down and who knows how many to go?

Is it decorated on one side only? If so, wall pocket.
Can't really imagine this as being a flask--mouth of the vessel is too wide for pouring (or drinking).

It's a wall pocket made by Ulmer Kermaik Hans Sauer from the city of Ulm in the Baden-Wuerttemberg region of Germany. Shown mark was in use between 1948 and 1955; it reads ORIGINAL (above the image of the Ulm Cathedral) followed by ULMER KERAMIK and GES. GESCH. (short for "gesetzlich geschütz", a simple 'protected by law' copyright notice). Text below the main mark body reads MADE IN GERMANY.
