Japanese Chinese Porcelain I am showing my ignorance

This post is not meant to insult anyone, but I seriously cannot tell if these are Japanese or Chinese Porcelain Marks.  I have been looking till my darn eyes burn...Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Picked this up at auction tonight,,,stands about 3" high, All thoughts would be great.

It must be Chinese. In the mark, the two characters on the left say Tang Zhi, or hall made. Sadly, the ones on the right that I can't find are the name of the hall or shop.

It is the Chinese company that made it, but that's all I could find out. The lady at my local Chinese restaurant told me that after I showed her the pic on the bottom..

The hall is the name of the maker, not just a store, but, yeah, not much value.

Thanks Janet, well guess I am not going to paris on this one...lol...although my daughter and her boy friend are going to Paris October 1st, they are thrilled.
