ID of Initials on End Cap of Christmas Ornament

Hi - I have two vintage Christmas Ornaments with the initials RM AN on the end cap.   Does anyone know what the initials stand for or is there a list I consult somewhere?

Does it look like a partial stamping? Possibly Germany?

It would help us help you if you show photos of the ornaments and a close ups of the marks. Are the ornaments glass or pottery?
