This jaunty fellow is perched between two branches that serve as candle holders. Heavy metal base makes it impossible to see the underside of the porcelain portion. Any ideas as to age or maker would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I have included a closeup of one of the leaves under the candle holder which is damaged and it appears to be porcelain over copper??? Is that possible?
