Ebay buyer tax

Does ebay collect sales tax if I buy a motorcycle on the site from ebay motors? let's say I bid on one and win, do I then get charged tax at checkout or do I pay that when I register it?

I feel like taxes are an important part of purchasing a vehicle.  It helps build schools, hospitals and provide for those less fortunate.

With vehicle purchases, you pay the sales tax at the DMV when you register the vehicle. They will want to see documentation of the purchase price, such as a printout of the completed listing.

On eBay, you only pay the deposit at checkout, and eBay doesn't add sales tax. You pay the rest of the payment when you pick up the vehicle.
