Big bear 350 4x4 bottom end problems.i was given 1997 big bear 350 4x4 atv.it was apart and missing parts.i figured it would be cheaper to buy a ringing then a running driveable atv.i may have been wrong on that thought.since then I bought running 4x4 atv for 600.00 but have yet to find engine for my yamaha 350 big bear. See lots of parts but the cases I have found have same problem mine does.i wrote this to warn people to be careful when buying parts for this engine.it seems to have problem blowing idler shaft out the case.its the shaft between starter and crankshaft making left engine case and outer case unusable.i just found a parts bundle that judging by pictures has what i need to reassemble engine and use pull rope only to start buy unless I can find usable case I cannot use electric start
