BTW, I ran acroos something Very simular to this,(it had higher,longer ,uglier handle bars just last week on Ebay, but can't find it again now!

If I remember right "it" (not this one) was a Hungarian paratrooper bike!

I've been looking , all I can figure is the auction ended!

Maybe it had a BIN price, I do rememeber the opening bid was 3,000, so the owner "knew" what they had!

I can't beleive I forgot to save the search, because it was the first time I had ever seen this particular paratrooper bike!

Off to see If I found it while looking at Parachute equipment!..............

I saw A Boehmerlonger in the flesh a few years back, took a pic of my wife standing in front of it. That was in the NSU museum in Germany..LLOOOOOONNNNGGGG Bike!!

I have a rotted Excelsior Spryte motor somewhere in my pile, same as Corgi paratrooper bike but post war, also same as Papoose.

I had a Doodlebug that I sold on ebay a few years back, rumor has it they were a prototype for a paratrooper bike. I call them the grandfather of minibikes as they have so many of the well used elements of the minibikes that followed for years after that.Still got a few parts so I could put a non-correct one together..
