Update unusable, completely useless

I opened the app, it says I need to update and gives the option of “close app” or “update app” so I pressed “update app” as I use it a lot. The App Store has no option to update and only “open app” so I pressed that, it just opens the app and tells me I need to update my app. So I pressed “update app” and it takes me to the App Store where I can only “open app” this opens the app but I can’t use it unless I update the app, so I press the “update app” option where it takes me to the App Store where the only option is “open app” and…. Now I need to find a huge amount of sellers in my industry because eBay is useless? Bye 👋

Have you tried to uninstall your eBay app and reinstall it? That might help. Good luck.
