New in selling, buyer tells payment made but on hold

I am new in selling here in ebay. I have sold an item and the buyer sent a message that he already sent the payment but ebay is putting it on hold. Should I send/ship the item and wait for the payment to be posted in my account?

Here is the message:

I have paid. Is this your first time selling? eBay is holding the funds. When you provide a tracking number, and you put it in eBay, they will track the package and release the money before it gets to me. You HAVE to put the tracking number in eBay or they can't track it and release the funds. Understand?? Please ship Saturday morning so I get it on Monday
