Hi,
I have 2 necklaces that Im stumped with.
Beads are very heavy and most likely blown glass beads. I have no idea what era they could be from or even what style the necklaces are.
If anyone can help w any info at all that would be great! My thought was 60’s but then the stamped silver pieces look older. Found no makers marks.
thanks

Boy, they look like either ethnic or tribal necklaces and they do look glass. Let me tag a real bead poster for you
Give her time to reply but I'm sure she can help you!

Whoooo...
You're really trying to make me earn my rep, huh?
Okay,
1. I think OP is right about the red beads being blown glass.
2. The green and blue "stones" from what I can see, look to be stone of some kind. The blue one *might* be shell that's been dyed.
The first thing that comes to mind when I saw the cordage/stringing is Alaska. The only other piece I've had that had similar stringing was native Alaskan beadwork, but the rest of the beading doesn't match.
I'll freely admit, I'm LOST here. These are ONLY the things that I can guess at from what I've seen. But that's a real wisp in the wind.
Consider that maybe it is 1st nation's from the Yukon area, and the work is maybe not for tourist trade. I am very shaky on this suggestion, though.
Sorry I'm not more certain!!
