Need help identifying sterling link style please!

Cleaning out my old jewelry box and found this sterling 24" necklace. I have been searching to identify the link style and am stumped. It is fairly heavy, stiff and 1/4" wide.

Any help would be appreciated!

Judy

That looks like a " wheat" link chain, I found a good example to view.

It's my understanding that a wheat chain is round and very flexible. This is flat and does not bend much.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes your right, I was in a hurry and did a boo- boo.

I had time tonight, do you think it could be a flat figure 8 link chain? Let me know here's a pic

Maybe a double figure 8 since it appears tighter than the one you sent?  Since it's unmarked could it have been handmade?

Quite possible, there's different designs on the basic " figure 8" chain and each manufacturer produces their own version, depending if it's for a man or woman, metals involved.

I viewed tighter versions and more relaxed versions of the figure 8 chains.
