The brooch has a vitrial watermelom rivoli stone in the center with what looks like ivory color Cat's eye stones? It has a c clasp and is very deep inside and has 2 support rods inside.
Any help with a description would be great.
Thanks,
Carolyn

How about
Cast Brooch Vintage White Fiber Optic Cat Eye Domed Layered Rivoli Center
As for your cute little Cat and fish bowl being a Jelly Belly:
Found on page 222 of the Brunialti in the Jelly Belly chapter:
If your fishy is swimming in Lucite, guess you will have to decide.

Nope! That ain`t no Jelly Belly..it`s a Fish -a -Swimmin
Might add layered to your brooch description..otherwise I think you have it covered pretty well

Your cute cat with the Lucite fishbowl is signed Gold Crown, which I am sure you know is a mark for Hallmark Cards. According to TESS that mark was first registered in 1996.
The cute cat that Sandy showed the photo of was patented in 1946 and is sterling with reversed carved Lucite.
I am sure that a lot of collectors will find yours very appealing and that would include Jelly Belly collectors as well as cat or whimsical collectors. As Sandy said it is your decision to use those words or not. I don't think that you would upset any collector because it is Lucite and a modern take on the one in the book.

EDUCATE ME PEOPLE! LOL
All joking aside, I have learned more on this board than I ever did in school. I may forget a lot and have to be reminded a lot but I really appreciate all the boardies on here who take the time to research for me when I can't find it on my own.
Thank you all !

I wouldn't call it a jelly belly if this were mine to list.
If this were an old piece from the 1940/50s I'd be thinking twice, but not for a modern, late 20th century brooch.
No benefit to either you or your buyer to call it that.
Maybe a very brief reference in the description ..
"A late 20th century brooch, reminiscent of the jelly belly brooches made in the 1940s."
This would show your buyer two things
1)You are perfectly aware of the 1940s/50s jelly bellies
2)You aren't calling this one a real jelly belly
This is my honest assessment, what I would do if I were listing this, FWIW. Bear in mind I don't list here on Ebay only on another site.
I'm heading out to help a friend at an antique and collectible show this weekend so I am not "sea gulling" if I don't return to this thread until next week.
Have a super weekend Carolyn, and don't sweat the small stuff, girl!
