Newer item, it seems. Haven't a clue. Only other mark is 925.
Thanks for any help with this mark.

This sort of reminds me of a silver (925) necklace I had whose mark looked liked an anchor. I was able to find the maker, but don't remember who it was other than I think it started with an "H". I'll post again if it comes back to me!

Found my old post. It's known as a Krementz "mustache" or anchor mark!

Thanks so much for the input.
I checked the trademark link...not there.
About Krementz, one link took me to their history, which was a good, informative read.
Here's the thing: I'm not finding any silver or silver plated items by them. Gold, gold plated, gold filled, rolled gold, yes.
After louping this set, even tho marked 925, I'm pretty sure I see areas which indicate plating, so will test tomorrow at work.
I mean, it's a gorgeous hard and curvy station type setting, with dazzling CZ's. My coworker already tested for diamond or other gem which would give off heat. Nothing.
Still, the mustache info was quite helpful. Maybe it is by them. I never studied that company before.
This set was owned by a former model....that's the only history I know of it, so far. Got a box of her stuff, mostly costume.
Thanks again. Appreciated.

Yes, the necklace I had had a picture frame pendant. Only the bale and clasp were marked with the anchor and/ 925, other parts were not marked and were not silver. Here's a couple pics:

Illusions shows this mark under Krementz:

OCN on the RCJ site..under Krementz..it`s the 5th MARK down. It reads:
Bottom looks like a man`s handle-bar mustache and top looks like a little umbrella or anchor
Then it shows a photo/mark 14K with this 'mark' beside it. Doesn`t give a timeline for the mark, tho.
I see what you mean, however, by the appearance of JC after enlarging the photo..along with it being more contemporary
Maybe seeing the entire item will help

A belated "Thank you so much for your help and research!"
Now I can list it; I forgot all about it and just put it up since I posted my question last year. This is great. Thanks so much. 😊
