Would you describe this as a pendant locket necklace? What type of design is on the front? Marked Hollycraft on the back & it opens. TIA

Could it be a pill box?

Definitely unusual. I was gonna question the fob type style as being all original..till I found this one.

Thanks so much Sarah & great searching! Looks like some kind of winged soldier with his victim. Very unusual to say the least!

I'd check sites on Mythology for the image, Vera. Cool necklace!

Are there any signs it might have held solid perfume?
Image looks to be of a Saint. Can you post a close-up. I don't think it's Saint George because that does not look like a Dragon under the horse.

Don't think it held perfume, there is no odor other than metal at all. Not a dragon under the horse but a person and some sort of letters at the top.
Here's a close up pic

I did find out it's Saint Michael the Archangel casting Satan into hell and Death on Horseback. The letters are Greek for Alpha Delta Gamma and it was probably used for the victims lock of hair. Kind of creepy. Probably made around 1965.
