Help Please - Question about CORO Mark

I think I remember asking about Block CORO Mark on a Bracelet Bundle a long time ago.

Now I have this gorgeous little Vermeil Donkey with almost the same Mark.

I looked and could only find this guy with the Pegasus and Script Coro stamped into the surface. This is marked on a small square Plaque.

RCJ confused me a bit about the date.

Did this come before the ones with the Pegasus Mark or after? Is it WW2? Before or after?

I would date him to the early-mid 1940's.
