East egg ? Stone ID too

Hi all, I picked this up at the thrift store today. It appears to say "east egg" on the tag. I can find NO reference to a company by that name. Are my eyes deceiving me? Does it say something else? Also the stones are beautiful any idea on what kind they are? Such a well made necklace with great stones! Thanks for any help! Lisa

I do think you're reading it correctly. When I hear "East Egg" I think of The Great Gatsby (can't recall if Jay Gatsby lived in east or west Egg). Perhaps it's a smaller, artisan shop on Long Island?

Btw, beautiful piece! If I'm right about artisan shop, there's a decent chance it's silver 🙂

Ugh...I didn't want to have read it right! How can there be no other pieces made by this person or company anywhere on line?! I did see the Great Gasby reference when looking for this maker. Thanks for the stone ID!
