Pauline, you always show such nice things and you work hard at your listings. WTG, girl!

Thanks Dream,
I find the hardest part is taking pics (I HATE taking pics!) I can't seem to get good pics inside no matter what I use light tents, "special" lights etc. So I'm the crazy lady on the block in the snow, mid Jan., taking pics dueing the few precious hours of sunlight-I know my neighbors think I'm nuts!
You guys (gals) are always a big part in how my listing come out. The knowlegde base in this group is truly amazing. I've learned so much and I'm still learning........ I don't think I thank-you all enough for all the help I receive.

Boy, do I agree with that! I think back about some pieces I sold before coming to this board, and I cringe at my lack of knowledge then and even now!

Speaking about pictures....Are you guys ever surprised at the amount of pictures you've taken?
I do pics one item at a time....Download on computer and I see so many pics and
I say to myself "Geez, it doesn't seem like I took so many pics"....
LOL...it takes me forever to go thru all of them and try and figure out which looks best....
and a lot of them look almost exactly alike....It's like that eye exam.
Which looks better A or B? With me, I also have a C, a D and an E...

OMG isn't that the truth Tex!
My husband is usually sitting across the room when I'm doing my listings and I'm like which looks better for the main pic-A or B.
He's like, they look the same to me.
I'm saying no, no this ones a bit darker, or the color is better in this one, whatcha think?
He says they look the same.
No, no they're definitely different, take a good look.
Finally whatever one I click on first , he says yes, that the best one.....
I know he's just saying that so he can go back to whatever he's watching on TV 🙂
As far as how many pics, it's usually 150-200 at a time. Several shots of the same item. Differernt color background, different lighting etc. The when I finally get around to doing the listing I still don't like the pictures and sometimes I redo them 😞

Your whole post is so funny...
This really made me laugh:
Then when I finally get around to doing the listing I still don't like the pictures and sometimes I redo them
Oh, lol, that happens to me a lot too....I think we're going to drive ourselves whacky with those pics.

Pauline ,
I totally agree with you about pictures . I ALWAYS like my pictures taken in natural light better and take all of my pictures ( except clothing ) outside . I know all of the neighbor's as they are always curious what I'm selling this week . Your posts made me laugh because I too am outside 4 seasons snapping pics !

I'm think I'm already crazy Tex 🙂
What really gets under my skin is looking at sold listings, with 1 or 2 BLURRY pics, a title that reads "vintage necklace" and they sell for good $$$$!!!!!!
That's when I really wonder what the heck an I going crazy for????
