Any Ideas On This Piece?

The pin back has a European trombone clasp and a Vicotrian hinge but the piece depicts things from South America. maybe Peruvian? any ideas at all about this

Andean, for sure.  I would think Bolivia because of the boat.

Test the gold in both areas. the handmade frame appears to be different. Both in workmanship and gold.Ch

the two sections are different.  the outside piece is very shiny but  the inside is almost frosted looking and I haven't had time to test them yet.

I wonder if the surface of the characters mural is bloomed gold? Is that technique still used?
