I have this wooden object for long time. Bought it on yard sale out of curiosity..

Still have no idea what is it.

May be somebody can help!

Its used for baseball items. The bat hangs in the slot, ball in the cut out circle and the hat hangs on the peg.

Do you know why so many little holes on fingers? what they are for?

Do you know when this thing was common and what was the "name" for it?

I searched for ‘baseball bat glove holder’ and this picture showed up. The holes would be for leather lacing.

Ah-ha! The holes are for laces, to complete the "glove" look:

I would not have figured that one out. 

The holes had me thinking what were they for.

He-he, I thought the holes are for lacing, as making the lace items kind of scarfs or such.

I looked at e-bay items for sale and think that mine looks better and much better quality, funny 🙂
