some people call it sea sediment jasper..there is another name if it is the blue color ,Ive heard it called African turquoise, but i think i would go with the jasper..

they are pretty common, but I used to make necklaces with them and people would buy them if put together nicely, look them up on ebay as sea sediment jasper and see what they sell for now..
