I am hoping to verify my COACH serial number and identify the style and age of the bag.

Hi there, I was hoping one of you fabulous Coach experts could help me authenticate my Coach serial number and verify the bags age and style. I think it's from the late 70's early 80's as it has the "made in New York City" stamp, but i am unsure.  believe that it is a stewardess bag.

Its a genuine Stewardess Bag style 9525 and made in the early or mid-1980s.

BTW, theres no such thing as verifying a serial number. A purse or other item can be authenticated but a serial number by itself doesnt prove something is genuine, only the combined details of the Coach item can do that.
