EBAY Feedback Policy

I purchased 4 mens suits from an international buyer. Order number 111862198981.

Purchased on April 24.

Delivered on June 1

Today is June 24.

according to ebay policy, I cannot leave feedback on my purchase as the purchase is too old.

I called customer service who only kept repeating the policy and could not find a supervisor.

This policy is not fair to the buyer.

I don't know specific feedback policy but I do know it's significantly long from the time of purchase. Unless I'm misreading your post, you've had the suits for over 3 weeks. What were you waiting for? IMO feedback should be left (if you're going to leave it) when an item is delivered as described or an issue is resolved. Is there a problem with the suits? If there is you can still make a claim but if it's just about feedback move on and you can always message the seller to tell them that you're happy with the purchase but that the system would not let you leave feedback.

Feedback is voluntary anyway. Some never leave it.

The policy is 60 days post sale date not after receipt date. I was given 23 days to evaluate the product. To gather 4 groomsmen together to try on and check fittings. That is not acceptable by any means.

The sale was international. So, I had to wait for the product to be delivered. I had 23 days to evaluate the product and give a review. From my purchasing perspective, I would have appreciated reviews commenting on fit, measurements, etc as it was ordered in cms and I am used to ins. The company itself Delivered a product for which comments could help future purchasers. I just feel that 23 days is too short of time for a buyer to evaluate an international product. The buyer had 6 weeks. I should have had the same time in order to provide valueable info to other buyers.
Additionally, EBay customer service and the website leave a lot to be desired.

OP you probably have one of the few situations for leaving fb that definitely and understandably would be problematic but buying online (and for other people) for such an important event in one's life is really risky and perhaps was not your best option.

Hopefully a tailor can work out the various issues in time for the wedding but this is honestly something you should have considered prior to purchase.

No offense to the OP. This is just my personal opinion.

I have never been able to understand why people would take a risk on buying anything online for an event as important as a wedding. Especially from overseas sellers.

I can't count the number of posts by brides on these boards who were surprised (way too late BTW) by the low quality, bad fit and extremely slow shipping from Chinese sellers of wedding gowns.

Feedback is not for product reviews. It's about the transaction.
