Yes, the handle is original to your Beekman. It's sturdier than most bag or brief handles, and the discoloration is from hand oils and perspiration. Nice brief!

You asked 2 questions and only one was answered. I thought you might like an answer to an un-answered question. Is that ok, or are you ok with un-answered questions?

The handle wasn't really a big deal. My main  concern was if the bag was real and that was answered.  I was just wondering why after two months my post showed up again. This is the second time a bag I posted showed up after a few months.  The bag is long gone so it doesn't matter now.
