FAKE MICRO SD CARDS

@4762s,

"FAKE San Disk Micro SD Cards Extreme Pro 256GB".

fake SanDisk memory cards are sold on many sites. They're one of the most counterfeited items sold online. With millions of new listings being posted daily, there is no way ebay can vet each and every one of them.   SanDisk them selves could register with ebay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRO)  program, that would allow them to get fake listings removed, but so far they have not done that.

Before buying those type items online you should do a search on how to spot fake SanDisk (or other brand) Sd cards.

I agree that ebay should not remove negative feedback because of an item being refunded.  However, since feedback is not used by ebay any longer, as a metric of seller performance, the defect the seller received on their account for having to refund is still there.

Since when has any store or site compensated a buyer for the time it takes them to return an item? You should not have had to go to the P.O. to send the card(s) back if you used the MOney Back Guarantee MBG and filed a not as described dispute. The seller should have sent you a return shipping label. If they could not it was because the seller was located outside of the U.S. and ebay could have provided a return label.  Then you could have scheduled pick up, or just dropped the item off.  In that case you could have left a negative feedback saying the seller misrepresented the item location and the item was not as described or didn't have the advertised memory, and it would have stuck.  Saying an item was Fake or Counterfeit and/or calling the seller names, would allow them to remove the feedback.

Did you check the seller's feedback profile page before buying from them?  If not and you only went by their feedback percentage, which judging by some of the sellers you've recently bought from you seem to do.  Then you did not use the tools ebay provides to avoid bad sellers.

Feedback might tell you a seller isnt great, but it cannot tell you a seller is good.

For a high speed Micro SD card, I am even quite picky about which Amazon seller or retailer I would buy from...often choosing only fulfillment from the 'Big A' themselves.

It seems for the paltry commission Ebay is willing to run us straight into Bezos's arms.

This happened to me too. A fake memory card was sold. Ebay does nothing.
