I have a blue cobalt measuring cup I bought years ago, and want to sell, but don't know if it's a repro. It has little tiny pin prick size bubbles all throughout the glass. Does this mean it's a repro? Thanks.
One way you can tell is if it has an oily feel to the glass it is most likely repro - the mold on new pieces is oiled so the glass can be removed more easily.
a picture would help us tell you what you have. A comment on oily glass: some collectors use oil based products or cleaners to shine up authentic depression glass, so the "oily" feel is not always the way to tell. 🙂
