What is this and Possibly Maker.

Was hoping someone would know what this is and possibly who the maker is. It is 6" to the top of the container and about 8" to the tip on the cover.

It's a biscuit jar.  It  might  be Wavecrest.  Unless someone comes along with a positive identification, I think it's worth searching Wavecrest biscuit jars to see if you find a match.
