Some help with this Asian paper water color please

It appears to be water colors on rice paper. Old but not antique. How do I find out if it has any value? i can't translate the signature or the seal, know nothing about this stuff. I have another piece that is on fabric. It is also old but not antique. Don't want to sell them blind so any info would be awesome.

The string of characters on the right may be a description or a verse related to the image. The characters are hand painted or hand written, and are very calligraphic, which means that they can be very hard to decipher. They may or may not be similar to the type-face characters that are used in printed works.

I can sometimes figure out printed characters, but I can't make any headway with what is essentially hand writing.

I recommend that you try posting a picture of the inscription here and asking for a translation:

 This image ☝️☝️was attributed as Radha Krishna, "Divine lovers" but I'm pretty sure that's nonsense. A mistake in the catalog. But I am pretty confident that if you search for the old man and monkey in a tree mythology, you'll find a cool back story and a better shot of i.d.ing the original artist that your piece was inspired by.  It's probable that the black calligraphy is a poem or proverb related to the man/monkey legend as @lacemaker3 mentioned, and that the chop (red stamped signature) is either fugazi or says something like "after Futaoki" or "school of Hokusai."
