Re: Secla Collectible Art Figurines

No one here gives valuations, but you can check Completed Listings on eBay to see how much interest there is in this brand of ceramics and the sorts of prices they fetch:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=secla&_sacat=0&LH_Complete=1

And here's some info about SECLA Pottery:

https://www.theoldstuff.com/en/porcelain-marks/category/133-secla-portugal-marks

and here:

Re: Secla Collectible Art Figurines

Well, a Google search brings up some sold figurines, if you scroll down this page:

But if you run it through Google translate, you will get a rough translation, good enough for your purposes.   You can use Google Translate for the main text, then the captions under each photo

For example, this is the opening (main) text in the second link, as Google translates it:

Portuguese popular types IV - Fernando da Ponte e Sousa - SECLA

Continuing the publication of figures of popular Portuguese types by Fernando da Ponte e Sousa (1902-1990), for SECLA, in the 50s, we added another female figure.

This time a fishmonger from Nazarene, in order to complement the previous publication about the women of Nazaré.

Other figures from the same series:
Portuguese popular types - Fernando da Ponte e Sousa - SECLA
Portuguese popular types II - Fernando da Ponte e Sousa - SECLA
Portuguese popular types III - Fernando da Ponte e Sousa - SECLA

In this piece, the colorful clothes, with strong graphic patterns, contrast with the black cape and hat. The figure is represented sitting on the ground, as usual, and the fish, inside a bowl, is oversized, in order to reinforce the caricature sense.
