I'm looking for some help with this mark on an old slag glass lamp.

This may or may not help.
The initials "B" and "B" or "E" and "B" are located in an "Ankh."
The Ankh is the circle with a cross coming off of it and is the symbol for copper.
While I have seen this mark on some lamp bases, I have no idea who made them.

post a picture of the entire lamp, I can't tell the material from which the base is made.

Found this online, it may help some. To me the shade looks very similar, especially along the bottom rim.
"The shade is definitely Empire Lamp of Chicago, I found it in their catalogue of lamps from the 20's and 30's. The base, however, remains a mystery...."
