Please HELP me ID this inkwell!

I just got this beautiful old inkwell and I'm curious about its origin or really anything about it. I haven't been able to find one quite like it. Can anyone offer any info? Thanks!

I see a very similar inkwell listed on an online selling site described as: antique French porcelain, bronze/brass mounts,  hand painted (yours has pansies). Their asking price is $100.

Looks like Wavecrest... nice piece dates to around 1880-1900.. unusual find, I would ask at least 100$$

Is it glass or porcelain? Style looks like wavecrest but if porcelain not.
