Judging only by its base, would you say this is an antique porcelain piece?

Why would you ask us to judge it only by its base?

Is this a test?  If so then my guess is no, because the area under the missing felt pad is lighter than the surrounding area. So the (modern) felt pads were added before the base got dirty.

Judging from the base I would GUESS it was white earthenware and probably not older than the 1970s.
