Can you bring your focus in tighter on the base? We don't need to see your hand, chair, wall; just the marks. And could you brighten the image as well?

This seems to have the same mark as yours, and the overall look and glaze appear to be the same (although, of course, I can't guarantee the seller has correctly identified the piece):

Basically they're arguing about it, because some of the contributors are having difficulty reading the signature as "Dubost" - they think it looks more like "Hubert" or "Chambost." Somebody then emails an expert, who says it is indeed Jean Dubost (of Noron-la-Poterie, in Normandy), but his reply doesn't convince everyone.

 

At any rate, there are definitely items with the signature being sold as Jean Dubost:

Thank you! I would have never read that name as the signature. I agree that it does appear to be the same. Like you said, if that seller has it correct.
